On July 13 and 14, Marbella will be the city hosting the fourth stage of the Rafa Nadal Padel Tour by The Adecco Group, an innovative amateur padel circuit that combines sport, leisure, fun, and values.
The tournament will be held at the Nueva Alcántara Club (NAC), one of the leading facilities in the province of Málaga. A total of 32 teams of 6 players, divided into 4 categories (two men’s and two women’s), will fight to win a tournament that has already visited Santander and Madrid, and will soon visit Valladolid, Alicante, and Barcelona. The winners in Málaga will have the chance to secure a spot for the final event to be held in December at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar facilities in Mallorca.
During the Marbella event, each team will play a minimum of two rounds, and all participants can enjoy the many activities scheduled throughout the weekend. The highlight of the weekend will take place on Saturday afternoon with the Mahou Musical “Tardeo” and numerous activations organized by Babolat on the courts of the Nueva Alcántara Club (NAC).
Maribel Nadal, Co-Director of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, expressed her excitement: “We are very happy with how the first stages of the circuit have gone. We are exceeding all our expectations and now we’re really looking forward to arriving in Marbella. We firmly believe in this format that combines sport and leisure, and the team competition system is creating a spectacular atmosphere. I’m really looking forward to seeing the NAC and experiencing the tournament firsthand.”
Just by registering for the event, the 192 players will receive a Welcome Pack with a Nike t-shirt, products from NDL Pro-Health, Babolat wristbands, Príncipe cookies, and sun protection from Cantabria Labs. In addition to the BABOLAT rackets that the champions will win, there will also be raffles and gifts provided by QuirónSalud, ZEL, and Bezoya, partners of the circuit. The champions in Marbella will also win tickets to cheer on the Rafa Nadal Academy team at the Hexagon Cup.
Known for its prestige in training young tennis players since its opening in 2016, the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has also committed to padel through the development of training programs for youth and adults in state-of-the-art facilities featuring 10 outdoor courts and 7 indoor courts. Its fitness center, pioneering health and wellness spaces, wide range of dining options, and modern residence make the Rafa Nadal Academy one of the ideal places for playing padel.
Now, by organizing the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour by The Adecco Group, the goal is to share the values, methodology, and DNA of the academy within the amateur padel community through an innovative circuit that is here to stay.
