Mallorca has successfully concluded the second edition of the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour by The Adecco Group, the amateur circuit that this year, 2025, has gathered almost 2,000 players and has established itself as one of the most attractive and comprehensive offerings in amateur padel.

“The final event held at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar facilities featured 215 team players from all parts of the peninsula, as well as from Italy and Switzerland, and combined competition, leisure, and a unique atmosphere that has become a hallmark of the Tour in these first two editions.

One of the most emotional moments of the weekend was the tribute received by Carolina Navarro, who recently retired from professional padel after a successful sports career. At the event, held at the Academy’s new indoor courts, the player from Malaga, an international padel icon, received the affection of all participants and of Maribel Nadal, Deputy General Director of the Rafa Nadal Academy, who recognized her exemplary career and her contribution to the development of padel.

The closing ceremony in Manacor concludes a journey that this year has taken the circuit to Santander, Madrid, Barcelona, Estepona, Seville, Valencia, and Gijón. In parallel, the Rafa Nadal Padel Tour by The Adecco Group began its international expansion with a Tour that has visited six other cities in Italy (Rome, Turin, Perugia, Bari, Bergamo, and Florence), with both circuits converging in the grand final.

Maribel Nadal, Deputy General Director of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, assessed the evolution of the circuit as follows: “The reception from players in the first edition was incredible, and in this one, expectations have been exceeded. The team format has definitely been a success, and being able to combine sport and leisure has provided us with a unique atmosphere in each of the events of both circuits. We are already working on the third edition to incorporate new features that will consolidate it as one of the leading circuits in amateur padel, and given the demand from many clubs and countries, we are also considering continuing with internationalization.”

The city of Gijón will host a stage of the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour by The Adecco Group for the first time from October 3 to 5. The event, which will take place at VADE4 PADEL INDOOR, combines competition, leisure, fun, and values, and is part of an amateur padel circuit that brought together over 1,000 players last year.

“We are very excited to hold this event in Gijón. It’s a city that lives and breathes sports, and I believe it will be a very special experience,” said Maribel Nadal, Deputy General Director of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar.

Following the Hexagon Cup model, each participating team will consist of a minimum of six players, forming three pairs per round, and each team is guaranteed to play at least two rounds.

Additionally, the tournament will feature two men’s categories (Viper, high level, and Veron, medium level) and two women’s categories (Energy, high level, and Stima, medium level), where teams will compete to be crowned champions and enter a draw for a spot to play in the final stage in Mallorca, at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, next December.

This weekend in Valencia, the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour by The Adecco Group experienced one of the standout moments of the season. A total of 250 players took part on September 19 and 20 at the Family Sport Center in the sixth event of the circuit.

The event brought together players from different men’s and women’s categories. Each team, made up of at least six players, played at least two knockout rounds, ensuring an intense competition schedule and a great team spirit that lasted throughout the weekend, also thanks to the activities organised around the tournament.

The Valencia event once again confirmed the appeal of this innovative amateur circuit, which combines competition, fun and values. Just for taking part, players received a Welcome Pack with a Nike T-shirt, NDL Pro-Health products, Babolat wristbands, Príncipe biscuits and sun protection from Cantabria Labs.

On July 13 and 14, Marbella will be the city hosting the fourth stage of the Rafa Nadal Padel Tour by The Adecco Group, an innovative amateur padel circuit that combines sport, leisure, fun, and values.

The tournament will be held at the Nueva Alcántara Club (NAC), one of the leading facilities in the province of Málaga. A total of 32 teams of 6 players, divided into 4 categories (two men’s and two women’s), will fight to win a tournament that has already visited Santander and Madrid, and will soon visit Valladolid, Alicante, and Barcelona. The winners in Málaga will have the chance to secure a spot for the final event to be held in December at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar facilities in Mallorca.

During the Marbella event, each team will play a minimum of two rounds, and all participants can enjoy the many activities scheduled throughout the weekend. The highlight of the weekend will take place on Saturday afternoon with the Mahou Musical “Tardeo” and numerous activations organized by Babolat on the courts of the Nueva Alcántara Club (NAC).

A total of 32 teams of 6 players, divided into 4 categories (two men’s and two women’s), will compete to inaugurate the record books of a tournament that will later visit Madrid, Valladolid, Marbella, Alicante, and Barcelona. The winners in Santander will have the chance to earn a ticket to the final event to be held in December at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar facilities in Mallorca.

The circuit was presented by Maribel Nadal, Deputy General Director of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, who was accompanied by professional padel circuit players such as Martita Ortega and Coki Nieto. Maribel was very excited about this announcement: “We have been working on this project for many months, and it’s particularly special to us. Padel has a very important presence within our facilities, and we’re excited to be able to convey our values in this circuit, which will have the excitement of padel and the passion of team sports.” World champion David Villa, renowned Chef Dabiz Muñoz, actor Juan Betancourt, Spanish Billie Jean King Cup team captain Anabel Medina, and former footballers such as Miguel Ángel Ferrer “Mista” and Roberto Jiménez also attended the event. Each team will consist of a minimum of six players who will form three pairs in each round. In each of the events, every team will be guaranteed to play a minimum of two rounds.
