In the context of a pleasant event held this morning in Madrid, the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour by The Adecco Group was officially presented, an innovative amateur padel circuit that aims to combine competition, leisure, fun, and values.
The circuit was presented by Maribel Nadal, Deputy General Director of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, who was accompanied by professional padel circuit players such as Martita Ortega and Coki Nieto. Maribel was very excited about this announcement: “We have been working on this project for many months, and it’s particularly special to us. Padel has a very important presence within our facilities, and we’re excited to be able to convey our values in this circuit, which will have the excitement of padel and the passion of team sports.” World champion David Villa, renowned Chef Dabiz Muñoz, actor Juan Betancourt, Spanish Billie Jean King Cup team captain Anabel Medina, and former footballers such as Miguel Ángel Ferrer “Mista” and Roberto Jiménez also attended the event. They all enjoyed padel in a small tournament that served as the circuit’s inauguration.
As Maribel Nadal herself explained, in its first edition the circuit will hold six events in Santander (Club G-6 from June 6 to 9), Madrid (Club La Masó from June 28 to 30), Valladolid (Club Raqueta Valladolid from July 5 to 7), Málaga (Nueva Alcántara Club Marbella from July 12 to 14), Alicante (Club Padelpoint La Nucía from August 23 to 25), Barcelona (Vallparc), and the finale in Mallorca with the final event to be held at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar facilities (Manacor) from October 8 to 13.
Each team will consist of a minimum of six players who will form three pairs in each round. In each of the events, every team will be guaranteed to play a minimum of two rounds.
Each event will feature two men’s categories (Viper, high level and Veron, intermediate level) and two women’s categories (Energy, high level and Stima, intermediate level) in which teams will try to win in their city and enter the draw for a spot to compete in the Mallorca final. Registration is now open!
Now, with the organization of the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour by The Adecco Group, the goal is to share the values, methodology, and DNA of the academy in the amateur padel environment through an innovative circuit that is here to stay.
At the event held at the Mad4Padel club (Pozuelo), Maribel Nadal wanted to give special thanks to the sponsors of the new circuit, highlighting the role of The Adecco Group, the largest talent group committed to people and innovation, which will have a special presence at each of the events. As she emphasized, companies such as BABOLAT (Official Paddle), QUIRÓNSALUD (Healthcare partner), NDL Pro-Health (Nutritional supplements), and ZEL (Official Hotel) will play a key role in each event by carrying out challenges, offers, raffles, and activations that will provide added incentive for each of the players. In addition, MARCA will be the official media outlet for an event that will also have the special collaboration of PRÍNCIPE, CANTABRIA LABS, and BEZOYA. Furthermore, the winners of each event will receive tickets to enjoy the Hexagon Cup, a team competition that will hold its second edition at the Madrid Arena.
